Rehearsal for SDB's Romeo et Juliet. Photographer: Gregory Olive. Dancers: Matt Carney & Max Tchernychev. Paris returns. At one point, I was toying with the idea of not bringing Paris back into the tomb. He is cut from some productions. But as I was listening to the music, it was pretty apparent that, musically, he was making his presence known. In the end, I was happy to bring the character back and have him give us his last hurrah. He really is an interesting character, in that, he is always just trying to do the right thing. It isn't his fault that Juliet doesn't go for him. And it isn't his fault that Romeo is hanging out in the tomb of his dead fiancee. Poor guy.
Rehearsal for SDB's Romeo et Juliet. Photographer: Gregory Olive. Dancers: Abby Avery & Max Tchernychev. I love this moment. The pulling off of the shroud is actually set to specific music. Its a bit unsettling.
Daily Stuff - Here at the office. TCB. Thats "Taking Care of Business" for anyone not from the 60's.
