Rehearsal for SDB's Romeo et Juliet. Photographer: Gregory Olive. Dancer: Abby Avery. Pretty self explanitory. Juliet dancing with the veil that is soon to become her shroud.
Rehearsal for SDB's Romeo et Juliet. Photographer: Gregory Olive. Dancers: Abby Avery. We actually use a different piece of fabric for the veil and shroud, even though dramatically they should be the same. It has to do with having to have the veil be extremely light and slightly stiff, so that it will float, as it gets tossed about. The shroud on the other hand has to hang on her body a bit, to give a better dead body effect.
Daily Stuff - Finished the Don Juan section of the fundraiser. Its pretty fun and the company seemed to enjoy themselves as they did it. Lots of gypsy teeth gnashing. Got the county grant off. Worked on the formatting of the program for the auction. Now, we just need to make sure we get people there.
