Daily Stuff: Judged at a Young Choreographer's Competition today. While I was happy to see everyone's efforts, I was a little disappointed. There didn't seem to be much attention paid to phrasing or dynamics within movement phrases. Most of the dances had a sameness about them, rather than any sense of growth.

Just didn't feel as if I was being taken on a journey.

Oh well.
