Rehearsal for SDB's Romeo et Juliet. Photographer: Gregory Olive. Dancers: Abby Avery & Max Tchernychev. A very slow developpe a la second. The biggest problem for the dancer in this step is that she has just performed it seconds before, facing upstage. So the audience is naturally going to judge the step against the developpe it just saw. So there will always be a little bit of the dancer competing against herself in the back of her mind.

Daily Stuff -  The first act mixed rep pas de deux's are coming together very well. Ran through R and J again and did some work on our Educational Outreach show. We have two outreach shows tomorrow in El Cajon and two of the dancers are on the "injured" list. So today we had to cover them in the show.
