Rehearsal for Educational Outreach. Photo by Manny Rotenburg. Dancer: Alexus Hill. She is soon joined  by a second girl with an umbrella. Lots of piques in arabesque and paddle turns. The thing about this section that never ceases to amuse in rehearsal is the step that Alexus is doing. It is a very simple step touch with the umbrella swooping across the body. But for some reason, it's a hard thing to coordinate after you have been dancing very fast.
